South Suffolk lambs are usually born small, their mothers having no trouble giving birth as lambs have small heads & compact shoulders giving them an easy passage to the world, lambs usually being strong & active at birth.
More often than not South Suffolk Sheep will have multiple births & we always have a number of ewes each year that have triplets.
Lambs can look quite dark when young, but always mature with chocolate points, with black feet.
